What is GDS Viewer?
GDS Viewer is a dealer-focused local viewing appliance and software platform for Grandstream GDS door station sites. It gives customer locations a polished shared browser viewer while giving dealers a proper licensing and deployment workflow.
Is this replacing the Grandstream mobile app?
No. The product focus is the on-site shared browser experience. Dealers and end users can still use Grandstream mobile access where remote viewing makes sense.
Can dealers brand the appliance?
Yes. Dealer branding can be applied inside the appliance experience so the viewer looks more like part of your own deployment package.
How is the software licensed?
GDS Viewer is licensed per site with dealer-managed activations. Each license can be tied to appliance identity and moved when replacement hardware is installed.
What happens when a unit is replaced?
Dealers can release the old appliance binding from the portal, then use the same key on the replacement unit. The activation history remains logged for support.
How do dealers get access?
Submit a dealer request through the website, receive approval, create your portal password, and then manage keys and site records from the dealer portal.
Can a business contact you directly without a dealer account?
Yes. Dealers are the primary channel, but businesses and end users can still submit a request for a viewing solution and be assisted directly if they are not working through an integrator yet.
